NextBase 222 Dash Cam

The Nextbase 222 dash cam is a full high definition dash cam, recording at 1080p quality with a 6G precision lens capturing every essential detail while you're on the road. This is an excellent starter dash cam that's really reliable and will provide you with the essential evidence when you really need it. It's lightweight and compact so it's not intrusive to the drivers field of view, and it has a wide angle 140 degree view (which is up to 4 lanes of motorway traffic!). This records at 30 frames per second on a clear 2.5 inch high resolution LED screen that uses IPS technology to sharpen your view while operating the dash cam. 

The Nextbase 222 dashcam features a high precision G sensor to record and securely protect footage when an incident happens, so you won't have to worry about deleting the footage accidently. This also includes intelligent parking mode for increased protection when you're away from the car. This can be used to record any physical movement on the vehicle when left unattended and is designed to work on the small inbuilt battery for the dash cam, not your car's battery, so you don't have to worry about battery discharge. All footage can be viewed and shared on a PC/Mac using the MyNextbase Player or online using the free MyNextbase Cloud service (Minimum requirements Windows 7 /OSX 10.9).

Fitting

The dash cam mounts directly to your windscreen via a 3M adhesive pad (optional suction pad included), and then locks in the dash cam unit via the Nextbase Click&Go PRO pro mount system. This has integrated high strength neodymium magnets so you can attach and detach the dash cam easily with just one hand, and it stays totally secure whilst driving. The power cable installs directly into the mount, allowing the Dash Cam to be free from wires. Hardwiring is also an option, using the Nextbase Hardwiring Kit (sold separately).
